Hamamatsu Castle Park Cherry Blossom Festival

Despite being in the center of Hamamatsu City, Hamamatsu Castle Park is surrounded by rich greenery. From late March, about 360 cherry trees, mainly Somei Yoshino, Shidarezakura, and Yamazakura, bloom beautifully, making it one of the best places for cherry blossom viewing and bustling with many visitors. During the cherry blossom festival, around 600 lanterns are installed and lit to enjoy cherry blossoms even at night.
