Otsu Hyakumachi 'Western' Stroll - A Tour of Western Architecture & Sweets
Enjoy the charm of 'Western' Otsu as you stroll through the town
We're launching a tour exploring the charm of 'Western' Otsu! While enjoying the shimmering scenery of Lake Biwa in early summer, we'll walk 3.5 km visiting valuable Western-style architecture and hidden patisseries in the town. Each patisserie will provide a souvenir. Planned visits include Western-style buildings: Shiga Prefectural Office Main Building / Biwako Hotel, Hama Otsu Arc / Old Otsu Public Hall / Otsu Church Hall, and patisseries: FUSE / THE SMILE CHOCOLATE / Patisserie Lumiere (in no particular order). ■ Notes What to bring: Hat, drink, rain gear, and a cooler bag for taking sweets home. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking.
