Matsuri Tsukuba

Our Matsuri Tsukuba.
Matsuri Tsukuba is Tsukuba City’s largest event, held every year in late August. Various gourmet stalls showcasing the specialties of Tsukuba, as well as stages for performances and dances, offer a wide range of events. The highlight is the parade, conducted by temporarily closing part of the Tsuchiura Gakuen Line from dusk. You can’t miss the massive lantern floats and the impressive Nebuta procession, which are among the largest in Japan!
