Following last year, this is the second presentation of works at Japanesque. Yoko Grogowski's photographs sometimes resemble silk screens or watercolors, and I feel that this is largely due to 'the work of the sky.' The sky, while being a part of the composition, sometimes dominates the entire photograph. She wishes for the sky to remain as silent as possible, aiming to capture moments when ordinary landscapes appear just a little bit special.
