Ise Hideko Picture Book Original Illustration Exhibition - Though Not Clearly Seen...

A summer tradition at the museum, the original illustration exhibition of painter and picture book author Ise Hideko. This year's display includes works where Ise Hideko expresses different textures of wind and snow using washi paper, starting with Koizumi Yakumo's ghost story 'Snow Woman', as well as the picture book 'The Painter' and cover illustrations from the haiku magazine 'Take' highlighting wind, sound, and light over the past 15 years, original drawings and tableaux connected to picture books, and numerous related materials including cover illustrations and original drawings from the new essay collection 'While the Paint Dries.' Related talk events about the exhibited works are also planned.
