50th Anniversary Exhibition of Kiichiro Mizumura: Living, Traveling, and Painting...

Kiichiro Mizumura was born in 1946 in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, as the first son of a scaffolding master, destined to succeed him. He loved drawing from a young age but lost both arms in an electrocution accident with a high-voltage tower at the age of 9. Afterward, he took a brush in his mouth and studied under Goro Ohno and Masaaki Terada. He later held solo exhibitions at various locations. Regarded as a painter of poetic spirit, he believes that the act of painting serves as a memoir of life, capturing memories of his heart's homeland, including the essence of the soul and the scent of the air. This exhibition showcases approximately 60 works.
