Firefly Squid Observation Event

In Tateyama, we hold a firefly squid observation event during the summer that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. On each day, 30 groups can catch firefly squids at the Tateyama Sunset Pier and observe how they glow pale blue in the palm of their hands. Those wishing to participate must fill out a return postcard with the desired date, number of participants (up to 5), the names and ages of all participants, the address of the representative who can be contacted on the day, and the addressee for the return postcard, and apply in advance. *If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held.
