[Hydrangea - Peak Season] Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine

Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine, located along the Katsura River in the center of Bungo-Takada City, is affectionately called 'Wakamiya-sama' and is cherished by local residents. At Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine, approximately 1,800 colorful hydrangeas bloom in full splendor around mid to late June each year, delighting the eyes of people who stroll or jog by.
