[Cherry Blossoms - Best Viewing] Kawagoe Park

The lined cherry trees along the embankment with about 300 Somei Yoshino blooms and the double-flowered cherry blossoms around the boat pond are recommended. Somei Yoshino blooms from mid to late March, followed by the double-flowered cherry blossoms. The long period during which you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing is unique to Kawagoe Suijo Park. In addition to Somei Yoshino, there are also Ōshima cherry and Yama cherry scattered throughout. The double-flowered cherry blossoms include three varieties: Ichiyō, Kanzan, and Fugenzo.
