In this exhibition, we will introduce 7 rare etchings by Western painter Kunitaro Suda for the first time, along with prints created by modern Japanese Western painters such as Taketori Ogisu and Koji Kinitani. Compare the different techniques of oil painting and printmaking by the same artist, and explore the charm of printmaking by discovering the differences and interesting aspects. Printmaking has many production methods such as etching, lithography, silk screening, and woodblock printing. In woodblock printing, we will introduce Edo period ukiyo-e prints. ■ Notes On August 9 (Saturday) and 10 (Sunday), a workshop will be held to create stencils on bags. Please check the website for details.
