Enjoying the Spring of Yagate - Plant Observation and Wild Edible Plant Foraging

Foraging for wild edible plants in the Yagate Forest of spring
In the Yagate Forest, known as the paradise of Hannō, participants will forage for wild edible plants that are a spring blessing while learning about nature observation, forest ecosystems, and biodiversity. Also introduced will be various initiatives by the NPO Nishikawa Ki-Raku-Kai, which utilizes thinned wood in forest building projects. During lunchtime, freshly foraged wild plants will be prepared as side dishes, such as in tempura.
