Kyoto University Telescope Television Stargazing Event

Let's take a walk in space with the largest telescope in East Asia!
Kyoto University Okayama Astronomical Observatory, Okayama Astronomical Museum
5/31(Sat) 18:30~21:00
We hold stargazing events with the largest telescope in East Asia (3.8m). During the stargazing events, celestial objects observed with the telescope are displayed on a monitor in real-time for participants to view. Under the explanation of researchers, visitors can observe the telescope and stargaze at celestial objects such as the moon and the globular cluster M13, which are currently in season. The television stargazing event using a research telescope with a 4m class aperture is unique in the world and is an extremely valuable opportunity, so we encourage you to participate. Pre-registration is required. If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held. ■Notes Co-hosted by: National Astronomical Observatory of Japan and Kyoto University Okayama Astronomical Observatory
