The Trajectory of Ukiyo-e and Portraits of Beauties (Saga Arashiyama Bunkakan)

Uemura Shoen (1875–1949) continued to depict ideal beauty and left behind many masterpieces. In the second venue, the Saga Arashiyama Bunkakan, Edo period hand-painted and genre paintings are exhibited, introducing the figures of women who colored the 'floating world'.
