Uemura Shoen (1875–1949) continued to depict ideal beauty and left behind many masterpieces. In the second venue, the Saga Arashiyama Bunkakan, Edo period hand-painted and genre paintings are exhibited, introducing the figures of women who colored the 'floating world'.
