Akagi South Side Senbon Sakura Festival

"Selected as one of the 100 cherry blossom spots in Japan" (certified by the Japan Cherry Blossom Association), it is a representative cherry blossom destination of Maebashi City, attracting many tourists every year. The approximately 1.3 km city road lined with Somei Yoshino cherry trees over 60 years old becomes a spectacular cherry blossom tunnel when in full bloom. Access

About 30 minutes from the Isesaki IC on the Kita Kanto Expressway, and about 40 minutes from the Akagi IC on the Kanetsu Expressway.

Access (Public)

Only on routes 4/5, 6, 12, 13, 19, and 20, a paid shuttle bus operates from the south exit of JR Maebashi Station.
