Mikuni Festival

One of the three major festivals in Hokuriku
The 'Mikuni Festival,' designated as an intangible folk cultural asset by Fukui Prefecture, is a prestigious Shinto ritual held at Mikuni Shrine from the opening ceremony on 5/15 to the festival on 5/21. Six 6.5-meter tall warrior doll floats proceed through narrow streets, making their way through crowds, making it worth a look. A festival that conveys the prosperity of the port town of Mikuni and the spirit of its people.
