Ibi Nidō Sakura

Academically valuable cherry blossoms
"Nidō Sakura" does not mean that it blooms twice a year, but rather that buds appear when the outer flowers are in full bloom, and when the outer petals wilt, the inner buds begin to bloom. It is a rare cherry tree that has three ways of blooming - single-flower, double-flower, and two-tiered blooms - depending on the branches, and is academically valuable. The colors of the flowers are also diverse, with white, light pink, and dark pink, dyeing Ōno Town in shades of pink. It has been selected as one of the 33 best sakura spots in Hida and Mino.
