Hokusai's beautiful women paintings have significantly changed over time, closely related to the popular styles of beautiful women paintings of that era. This exhibition follows the evolution of Hokusai's beautiful women paintings along with various works in the lineage from Nagakatsu Miyagawa to Hokusai and the works of master artists of ukiyo-e from the same period, clarifying its charm and position in the field of beautiful women paintings.
