Reading Live "Edo Woman Scenery"

Think of Edo through Ukiyo-e with Shuhei Fujisawa's works
From Shuhei Fujisawa's "Higurashi Takegawara," recited by renowned narrators Mitsuru Hano, Mano Waki, and Yuko Kisaragi, who are celebrated for their period readings, featuring "Asukayama," "Ohashi Evening Shower Girl," and "Rainy Day in Kiribata." Each of these short stories was inspired by Utagawa Hiroshige's famous ukiyo-e. A reading performance filled with the poignant episodes of three different Edo women that will resonate in your heart. Enjoy the performance along with the bamboo flute music by Eiji Kume in between the readings.
