Kites flying in the spring skies
Against the refreshing sky of May, kites flying in the vast sky with skilled maneuvers bring great emotion to onlookers. Centered around these traditional kites, the "Etchu Daimon Kite Festival" gathers many people from inside and outside the prefecture at the scenic Daimon Kite Park, promoting interaction through kites as attendees mingle and enjoy. Organized mainly by the Imizu City Chamber of Commerce and the Daimon Fisheries Cooperative, there will also be a food area featuring food stalls and kitchen cars, as well as stage events. Let's spend a fun day!
