Public Lecture: Do You Know About Oral Frailty? - Major Improvement of Oral Decline! ~One Key to Healthy Longevity~

Do you know about oral frailty?
"Oral frailty" refers to a concept in which minor declines in oral function, such as decreased articulation and choking, lead to a negative chain reaction that decreases eating ability and overall physical and mental functions. This concept was devised in Japan and is spreading worldwide. It can be described as the oral version of "frailty," which is an intermediate stage between health and needing nursing care, where early detection and prevention are key. In this lecture, participants will think together about the correct understanding of oral frailty and the measures that can be taken in daily life.
