Professor Hirai's Wildlife Observation & Insect Specimen Workshop

Let's observe wildlife with Professor Hirai from Osaka Public University Graduate School! We will see the creatures living in the park up close, listen to stories, and try making specimens. In the insect specimen workshop, we will create specimens of rhinoceros beetles and jewel beetles, and conduct scale transfer using butterfly scales to capture their form on paper! (The wildlife observation will proceed in light rain; if the weather is bad, it will be changed to the specimen workshop) Capacity: 30 participants for each program. Suitable for elementary school students and above (up to one accompanying guardian). Items to bring: A net for insect catching for the wildlife observation.
