Ryugozan Chikugo-ji (Soto Zen) is a Zen temple founded by Eisai, located in the mountains, where approximately 7,000 hydrangeas bloom beautifully, and is affectionately known as the "Hydrangea Temple."

About a 10-minute walk from Nishitetsu Bus No. 25 or JR Kurume Station, get off at "Yamamoto Community Center" or "Yanagisaka."
