Hanawa Neputa

The giant lantern in the shape of the king's representative is a must-see
A Tanabata event that has been passed down in the Hanawa region of Kazuno City since the late Edo period. Lanterns shaped like the king’s representative, over 5 meters tall, march in time with a 2-meter diameter large taiko drum and flute music from 10 neighborhoods. The 'Nemuri Nagashi', where stalls lined up at Inamurabashi are set on fire on the 8th, is also a must-see.
