[Flowers - Best Viewing] Sunflowers at Nanohana Park

Known only to those in the know! A limited-time breathtaking sunflower field

Iiyama City Nanohana Park

Mid-Aug

In spring, the Nanohana Park is adorned with blooming canola flowers, transforming into a sunflower field in summer. The sunflowers typically start blooming around August 4th and reach their peak around the 10th. They are harvested shortly after the Obon festival, making this a limited-time sunflower field. Surrounding it are magnificent mountains and views of the Chikuma River, and the lack of crowds allows for a leisurely enjoyment of the breathtaking scenery!
