Ogi Yabiki Gion Festival 709th Festival

A traditional summer festival that has continued for over 700 years
This festival, which has been passed down for generations, has a tradition of over 700 years and is a summer event that many people look forward to every year as the Summer Festival of Suga Shrine. The powerful shouts of men, the rhythmic sounds of the taiko drums played by children, and the spirited cheers create a picturesque scene that truly colors the summer of the castle town of Ogi. The sight of the three floats from Shimomachi, Nakamachi, and Kamimachi parading through the town is spectacular! ■Notes For inquiries outside of business hours, please call (090-8917-2301)
