Susa Onmikoto Squid Direct Sales Market

The Susa Onmikoto Squid Direct Sales Market is a summer tradition held from June to July at the Susa Fishing Port wharf in Yamaguchi Prefecture, where producers (fishermen) sell live Kensakikai directly to visitors. Everything from squid fishing to advertising and sales is planned and operated by the fishermen themselves. Be aware that a numbered ticket issued from 8:30 AM is required.

The event is held every Sunday during the period and on July 26 (Saturday). Numbered tickets are issued from 8:30 AM. The event will end as soon as the supplies run out. There may also be cases where sales are suspended due to weather or other reasons.
