The protagonist of the NHK Taiga drama 'Berabou - Tsutaya Juuzaburou's Glamorous Tale,' Tsutaya Juuzaburou, is renowned as a remarkable publisher who brought many masterpieces to the world. Today, the most beloved works are Ukiyo-e (woodblock prints). This second lecture, presented by Mr. Hidetaka Asano, the director of the Yamato Bunkakan, who is involved in the research for 'Berabou,' will discuss the charm and reality of Tsutaya's Ukiyo-e. This time, the theme will be 'Portraits of Beautiful Women.' The first 100 attendees on the day (no reservation required).
