In the 19th century, the Satsuma pottery astonished the people of Europe and influenced European art thereafter. The white Satsuma pottery exhibited at the 1867 Paris Exposition was highly praised for its beauty, adorned with gold leaf and colorful patterns on an ivory-like base, leading to great popularity in the Western market. In 2007, the 'Satsuma Pottery Paris Traditional Beauty Exhibition' was held at the National Museum of Ceramics in France, receiving high acclaim. This exhibition will display and sell a collection centered on Satsuma pottery, titled 'Kyushu Ryukyu Southern Barbarian Ancient Pottery Exhibition.'
