Demachi Children's Kabuki Float

One of the few traditional performing arts in the country
The Demachi area continues to carry on the tradition of 'Children's Kabuki,' which is found in only eight locations in Japan. The origin of this festival stems from the dedication of Children's Kabuki to the spring festival of Demachi Shinmeigu Shrine. Each of the three neighborhoods has one float, and each year one of the neighborhoods takes turns performing a play. Come and enjoy the passionate performances by the young actors. ■Notes Event details may be canceled or changed. Please check for the latest information before attending.
