[Cherry Blossoms - Peak Viewing] Shofukuji Mountain Park

A famous cherry blossom spot offering a panoramic view of the oyster rafts in Mitu Bay. Enjoy around 1,200 cherry blossoms of the Somei Yoshino variety and the Setouchi scenery all at once. The peak viewing period is about a week later than the flowering time in Hiroshima Prefecture, around early April. During the peak period, lanterns are lit from 6 PM to about 9 PM, allowing for nighttime cherry blossom viewing.
