62nd Shizunai Cherry Blossom Festival

At the cherry blossom avenue "20 Ken Road Cherry Blossom Avenue," over 2000 cherry trees bloom elegantly along a straight stretch of 7 km, allowing visitors to enjoy the arrival of spring while admiring the blossoms. It is said to have originated from the former Imperial Household Agency Pasture in this area. It is one of Japan's top cherry blossom spots, selected as a "100 Best Roads in Japan," "100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots," and "Hokkaido Heritage." Various events are planned during the period.

Behind Shinkan Ranch along the 20 Ken Road cherry blossom avenue. No parking or stopping on 20 Ken Road during the festival period and immediately before and after; please use the designated parking areas.

Access

About 120 minutes to Shizunai City via the Dōō Expressway from Tomakomai East IC, then the Hidaka Expressway and R235.

Access (Public)

About 150 minutes from Sapporo Station to Shizunai Station via the Donan Bus Limited Express Pegasus, and then about 20 minutes by car from Shizunai Bus Terminal.
