Enjoy large fireworks up close at the Nago Summer Festival
The Nago Summer Festival offers large fireworks that can be enjoyed up close in the Nago area. In Nago Kashimawan, a maritime festival is held to pray for safe navigation and bountiful catches, along with a fireworks display featuring 2,000 shots. At Sumiyoshi Shrine, a Shinto dance is also performed. The festival lasts for two days, and on the second day, there will be pest repellant prayers, and the three shrine floats will parade through the town while also showcasing the Shinto dance. Furthermore, a raft competition utilizing Nago Bay will be held, attracting many participants.
