This course will consider the European and American views of nature from the perspective of nature (jinen) as common to Eastern thought and religion, as well as the nature that produces things. The central focus will be the Buddhist view of nature, but at the end of the analysis, the "ordination of trees" seen in Southeast Asia will be addressed, explaining the challenges of modern Buddhism and its efforts. The application and payment period is from April 1 (Tue) to May 6 (Tue). ■Notes Public course (Spring 2025)
