Geological Specimen Museum Event: "Fossil Cleaning Workshop - 2025 -"

We will hold a "Fossil Cleaning Workshop" where participants can break rocks containing leaf fossils using hammers and chisels to extract the fossils. Participants will learn about fossils while touching and observing the extracted fossils. Additionally, there will be an event to search for fossils that are also featured on the recommended specimen cards, both in the museum and its surroundings. Participants in either event will receive a recommended specimen card. For more details, please visit our website. "Fossil Cleaning" requires a reservation (lottery application). ■Notes Photos and videos may be taken during the event for the purpose of PR activities of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
