The weeping cherry tree located in the "Daikokuten" temple grounds at the branching point of the Itoigawa and Zenkoji highways in the northern part of Oimachi city. It stands next to the stone statue of Daikokuten, built in the 5th year of the Kaei era. The flowers are a light pinkish-white color and bloom in clusters of 2 to 3, providing a striking white appearance when fully bloomed. Known as "Daikoku-sama's Weeping Cherry Tree," this spot has been cherished by local residents for a long time.
