Ippataku Yakuji Weekend Zazen Session (June)
Time to face oneself in tranquility
A zazen session aimed at individuals held every weekend night. Anyone from elementary school (grade 4 and up) can participate. The content includes chanting (initially chanting the Heart Sutra and the Four Great Vows), zazen (3 sessions of 15-30 minutes each with short breaks in between), kinhin (walking in the temple grounds, indoors in case of rain), Dharma talks (mini Dharma talks on texts like the Dhammapada), and tea ceremony (a chat session while enjoying tea and snacks and introducing ourselves). Please make a reservation in advance by phone or email.
