Coloring spring, Yoshino's thousand cherry blossoms
Yoshinoyama is one of Japan's top cherry blossom spots, boasting approximately 30,000 cherry trees in full bloom. The blooming period varies from late March to mid-April (depending on the year) across Shimo Senbon, Naka Senbon, Kami Senbon, and Oku Senbon, allowing visitors to enjoy cherry blossoms for an extended period. In spring, the mountain is dyed pink, and its beauty is truly breathtaking. The cherry blossoms of Yoshino have long been counted among the 'Three Great Cherry Blossom Spots of Japan,' continuously moving those who visit.
