Yugaku Castle Town Shinshu Matsushiro Spring Festival 2025

Matsushiro, the castle town of the Sanada clan with a hundred thousand koku. In spring, it becomes lively as a famous cherry blossom spot, with approximately 100 cherry trees (Somei Yoshino) in full bloom, which is truly magnificent. Enjoy traditional performing arts and music at historical sites such as the Sanada Residence and Bumbu School. During the spring festival period, the cherry blossoms in the main castle area will also be lit up at night! Let's enjoy the collaboration of the fantastic castle and cherry blossoms. The cherry blossom illumination is scheduled from April 5 (Saturday) to April 14 (Monday) from 18:00 to 21:00. *The period may change depending on the cherry blossom blooming status.
