Firefly Search with Handmade Lanterns

Let's visit the quietly glowing fireflies in the satoyama (village forest).
After making a lantern with familiar materials, we will follow it to visit an area where fireflies dance after sunset. Both the light of the lantern and the flashing of the fireflies are gentle on the eyes, allowing us to enjoy a delicate light show from early summer evening to night. Since there will be a craft activity, it is suitable for elementary school students and older. Families are of course welcome, and participation by adults alone or friends together has also been well received. ■Notes Purpose of the activity: To acquire knowledge that is genuinely useful in emergencies. For more details, please refer to the website.
