Sweet Tea Festival (Iouji)
Celebrating the birth of Buddha and wishing for a year free of illness
An event held at "Iouji" in Yamanaka Onsen, which is counted as one of Japan's three Yakushi. It celebrates the birth of Buddha, where sweet tea is poured over Buddha, and drinking it is said to ensure a year free of illness.
