Aki Kondo: The World I Saw After Shedding My Skin

Aki Kondo is known for her dynamic brushwork and vibrant colors. This is the artist's largest solo exhibition to date, showcasing over 50 new works created for the exhibition along with works from 2022 and beyond. Kondo's works explore private motifs such as everyday objects, the memories of people, plants, and the words of children, as well as themes of life and death and the transcendent power of nature. Through her art, we delve into the world opened up by 'living' and 'drawing.'

Municipal parking lot under Mito Art Museum / Rates: Free for up to 30 minutes, 200 yen for up to 1 hour, 100 yen for every additional 30 minutes, maximum 700 yen per day
