Kumano Sansho Shrine Grand Festival

The grand festival of Kumano Sansho Shrine, famous for the procession of parishioners with white offerings, also known as the 'Shirabe Festival.' The pristine grounds, surrounded by ancient trees, are filled with a solemn atmosphere. The grounds feature the impressive Hikanazuka Tomb, which has a stone chamber, and the lush forest surrounding the shrine is registered as a cultural property designated by the prefecture.
