Let's make a mini koi nobori with traditional craftsmen!
Welcoming "Watanabe Koi Nobori" from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, we will hold a workshop to create a koi nobori approximately 30 centimeters in size with their 'traditional craftsmen.' Using cotton fabric and dye similar to traditional koi nobori, the finished product features an authentic texture. First, learn dyeing techniques and color mixing from the traditional craftsmen, then use brushes to dye the pre-designed koi fabric in your favorite colors. A traditional craft experience that is accessible for children and adults alike.
