70th Anniversary Celebration of Town System Implementation Okutama Fireworks Festival

Fireworks launched surrounded by magnificent mountains
Surrounded by the vast mountains of Okutama, fireworks shine in the clear night sky. Since they are launched from the summit of Mount Atago, they can be viewed from a wide area around Okutama Station. One of the attractions is enjoying the rich nature of Okutama while still being in Tokyo. Festivals will also be held on the same day, featuring lion dances and portable shrines, along with enjoying food stalls. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the town system implementation festival.
