Osaka Heinrich Schütz Chamber Choir Kobe Concert Vol. 6

Osaka Heinrich Schütz Chamber Choir Kobe Concert Vol. 6

Into the unparalleled world of Kenji Miyazawa

Kobe Asahi Hall

9/14(Sun) 15:00~17:00

Kenji sings. The death of the beloved, the path forward for those left behind. A collection of poems expressing the sentiments toward his younger sister Toshi: "The Morning of Farewell," "Pine Needle," "Silent Grief." In a heartfelt composition by Hideki Chihara, who has musically expressed Kenji's words in various forms, this work is completed as a three-part acapella mixed choir piece. Together with Rikuya Terashima's work, which weaves music that resonates with Kenji's gaze toward the nature and people of his hometown, Hanamaki, we approach the corporeal voice of Kenji. ■Notes Compatible with internet live streaming (with archive available until September 28)
