Aiko Sato, who has received numerous literary awards, had reduced her social interactions and was feeling gloomy after turning 90 and quitting writing. It was during this time that middle-aged editor Yoshikawa approached her with a request for an essay. The essay, in which she candidly expressed her anger towards the world with the words, "It's all so annoying!" unexpectedly became a huge hit, drastically changing Aiko's life at the age of 90...
