Kyoichi Tanabe - Landscapes of Those Days

Kyoichi Tanabe, a painter who depicted the everyday streets of Kumamoto. This exhibition features the "Town" series he worked on after his retirement, as well as sketches he created during the production process, along with works depicting the state of Kumamoto before and after the end of the war from illustrations for newspaper serialized novels.
