40th Fukui Sakura Festival

A major spring event held in the capital of Fukui Prefecture, "Fukui City." Notably, the "Asuwagawa Sakura Row," selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom spots, is located a 10-minute walk from JR Fukui Station. It features 600 cherry trees lining the embankment for 2.2km, beloved by locals and resembling a tunnel of cherry blossoms. At night, it is softly illuminated in various colors, providing a fantastical view that differs from the daytime. During the period, events are also held, making it a festival to fully enjoy Fukui's cherry blossoms.
