A large weeping cherry tree located at the birthplace of 'Seiichi Kokushi', who brought tea and cultivation methods to Shizuoka. Approximately 20m tall with a branch spread of 17m. It starts to bloom in late March, and its deep pink color vividly announces the arrival of spring.
