The 18th Tohoku Chainsaw Art Competition

Let's go see the art created from logs
The Tohoku Chainsaw Art Competition began in commemoration of the 59th National Tree Planting Festival. Using only chainsaws, creators express the world they imagine on logs that are 50 cm in diameter and 2.0 m in length over two days. The gradual transformation of the log into a shape is truly miraculous! An auction of the created works will be held on June 15 at 2:00 PM, providing a chance to acquire something you like.
